I knew this wasn’t going to be a great day. I was booked to take my gorgeous little grandson for his one-year jabs. I know he has to have them but I hate thinking of those needles puncturing his perfect skin.
We both had a good breakfast of porridge – mine with almond milk, he with full fat cows milk and yogurt. I do love porridge. It has to be one of the most perfect foods. With chopped apple, a few nuts and anything else you fancy. If I need a bit of sweetness I add a little swirl of coconut nectar (divine) or chopped up dried fig (decadent).
